Hello South Range Community, my name is Shelly Colucci and I am your new school board member. I grew up in Berlin Center and I am a graduate of Western Reserve High School. After graduation, I was asked to help out for “just a few weeks” at the office where my Uncle worked. Well, those “two weeks” have turned into a 29 year career with LB Foster Company, Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA. LB Foster is an industry leader serving the global railroad market. I have held various positions within the organization and I am currently the Trackwork Product Manager. I am responsible for all aspects of the business unit for the company. I live in Green township with my husband, Chuck (Canfield City Police Chief) and son Christopher “Pher”, a junior. I enjoy visiting my oldest son Anthony in Florida any chance I can in between Raider football and wrestling meets. In 2003, we moved into the area for one reason, the school district. I am so proud to now serve this district as a board member. Prior to becoming a board member, I previously served a three year term on the South Range Schools Foundation Board. I enjoy giving back and serving the community through various volunteering and fundraising events for local organizations. I decided to run for school board for one reason. The kids! You have my commitment that I will work to ensure every student receives the best education experience while being a responsible fiscal steward of district funds. I feel that quality education is worth the investment of time, effort and financial resources.
