STEP 3:

APPLY TO THE COLLEGE(S)  YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND FOR THE UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR. A REMINDER THAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE COURSES THROUGH MORE THAN ONE COLLEGE!

The following colleges are the ones most South Range students apply to and earn credit from under CCP. If your college is not in this list, it is your responsibility to complete all required paperwork and meet all of their deadlines.

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY

(deadline to apply for summer is April 1, fall's deadline is May 1)

A Kent CCP application is required by any student wanting to take the CCP math courses offered on the South Range campus!

B. Student and parents must sign the Kent CCP Permission Form and turn into Mrs. Burkey. She will submit the form with your transcript to Kent.

STEP 4:

You and a parent/guardian must meet with Mrs. Burkey AFTER you call/email to schedule your advising meeting at the college, but BEFORE the advising meeting takes place! It's important to get your appointment on the advisor's calendar!

Most students taking courses through Kent will meet with their advisor late April and into May and June. YSU scheduling typically takes places late July into August.
