Elementary School Counselor

Program Overview
In elementary school, the focus is on increasing self-awareness, social skills, learning safety skills, and developing self-efficacy.
In addition to classroom lessons, I conduct small groups in the area of social skills as needed. I also consult with parents, colleagues, and community agencies regarding strategies to help students and families.
I provide a limited amount of individual counseling to help students with difficulties dealing with relationships, personal concerns, and/or developmental issues. Students may be referred by themselves, teachers, or parents.
